Look out for it in pharmacies and health shops near you. Please note: if you suffer from any heart liver or kidney conditions this product might not be for you.

GREEN TEA EXTRACT:


This is a very popular and effective fat burner, it workers by helping to raise your metabolism and hence your body’s ability to burn more calories. It belongs to the category of fat burners known as calorie burners . Unlike Caffeine and Yohimbe which work by releasing fat to be burned, green tea works by raising the body’s ability to burn off the fat released hence they complement each other. Green tea also has added benefits, it is a powerful anti oxidant and helps in joint and muscle recovery after exercise. When buying green tea extract, make sure that a dose contains at least 500 milligrams and take it 30 mins to 1 hour before exercise.

CARNITINE:


This supplement is known as a fat transporter, meaning it helps move all that dislodged fat to the proper place where they can be burned off during daily activity and exercise. It is absorbed as L-Carnitine into the body and is an amino acid like substance and is found naturally in meat. However since we generally do not get enough meat in our diet, taking L- Carnitine supplements help to bridge the gap. It is best taken before and after workouts.

CONJUGATED LINOLEIC ACID (CLA):

We are at constant war with fat, we need to consume it to function yet we need to reduce the amount our bodies store. This is where CLA comes in, it is a fat burner that is categorized as a fat stopper i.e. it limits your body’s ability to store fat and is a personal favourite of mine.
CLA is a naturally occurring group of omega 6 fats. Many studies have shown that CLA increases fat loss while boosting muscle growth and strength at the same time. CLA supplements are best taken with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure that you buy one that has between 1 to 3 grams per dose to be effective.

FISH OIL:

This a source of omega 3 fatty acids that are essential to healthy living. Fish oil is a source of “good” fats (EPA) and (DHA). These omega 3 fats have recently been found to turn on genes that increase fat burning while turning off genes that increase fat storage not including other health benefits of fish oil like; enhanced brain function, improved moods, joint recovery and even elevated muscle growth.
